Some Ups and Downs

Hello everyone! Wasn't it a beautiful day today? I took Aiden out on a walk to our garden to water the plants and then I couldn't stay in the house so I put Aiden in his carrier and went out and sat on the swing and Aiden and I swung. He didn't seem to care one way or another about it, he just kept looking around at the trees and whatever else caught his eye. He really enjoys being outside.

As for me, I had my mom's club interview today. I am not sure how the interview went and I am still kind of going back in forth in my mind about whether or not I truly want to do it. There is also the possibility of me applying to help the program committee to plan activities. We'll see what happens. I also had a slightly bummer moment this afternoon, I pulled out a couple of my favorite dresses and held them up and thought oh, this has to be too small, nevertheless sometimes when you think something is too small and try it on it will fit anyway. So, I tried two or three of them on. Hmm, they didn't fit in the chest area. It got me down a bit because we don't have the money right now to replace any of the clothes that don't fit anymore and even if I had fabric, I don't have the time to sew. Luckily, my sweet mom is going to take me out to get a new dress to wear for Aiden's blessing.

Brandon starts his new shift on Monday and we are all excited about that. He is glad that school is out but does have a few more things to do. He has two papers, a few minor adjustments to a group film project, and a resume to turn in and then he will be completely done for the summer.

This evening we had a tasty dinner of fajita's. We just buy the fajita seasoning, a green bell pepper, an onion, tortilla and stewing beef from the store, follow the directions on the package and eat! Yum! Last night Brandon and I went to see "The Producers" and Pioneer Theatre. It was a funny concept and made us laugh, although there were a few unneccessary things that could have been left out.

Aside from these things, I have a few friends who are pregnant and need to get started on shower gifts for them. Unfortunately, I have no idea where I am going to find the time to work on them but while time is in short supply these days, money is still tight and so I have to be creative. I have some cute ideas up my sleeve, and at least 2 months before one project needs to be finished 5 for another, and 7 for the last. So maybe I can manage to get them done! :) We hope that everyone is doing well. Get out and enjoy the nice weather tomorrow!
